Ok guys i have been doing some research and heres what i got:

I got $400

today i spent $50 on resin, fiberglass, bondo, wood.

wiring kit is $32

here comes the hard part:

i want JL 10W6v2 and a 500/1 amp, BUT it seems i cannot afford both, what should i do?

1) fork over $250 for the amp and get a cheaper sub
2) get the sub AND a 1.6 farad cap for $250 and buy a cheaper amp (pawn shop prolly)
3) wait, get the sub now and the amp later when you have the $
4) wait, get the amp now and the sub later when you have the $

whatever you do, dont cheap out on the amp, i'd rather have a $400 amp and $70 subs than vice versa.

500.1 or other good amp, and a decent sub (which can be had for under 150)

in total it should be like $450-500, you're almost there, why buy cheap stuff

 

Save your money and buy what your want instead of settling.

 

i would wait till i have 399 and get a PS3

 

I say go with the 500/1 JL and the 10w6v2 AND the 4080 box. I speak from experience that you won't be disappointed. Save your bread man and get what you will be happy with later on!
