Re: TouchScreen
You can go with a lilliput. Not as good as a xenarc. From what I hear the parts used to make a lilliput are refurbished, you can pick on of these up for $270 + shipping on ebay I think. I'd personally spend a little more and get a xenarc. Check the parts section, I have a screen for sale.

Re: TouchScreen
That screen is terrible for use as a carputer. Its brightness is only 220 nits. The new xenarcs are 400 and are still not bright enough. Also you will definitly want a VGA screen if your doing GPS or anything else that requires small text. If your trying to save money, get the lilliput, its just as good as the xenarc in terms of display quality, but you do take a gamble with them since they are more prone to defects.

Re: TouchScreen
I'm about to order a Xenarc thru eBay, but is there any way to tell if it's one of the newer screens with improved brightness or an older one?
The prices on SpySupply.com are pretty good. but seems like they are still selling the older screen.
$485 for aa 700TSV is a pretty good deal thou

Re: TouchScreen
$680 for 700TSV-USB (has two AV inputs, VGA and touch) with the ultra brightness. I know it sounds like a lot but Nissan wants $1400 for the 6.5 non touch screen that is in the OEM.
From my experience spysupply don't keep stock, they just order from Xenarc when you order so I don't think they sell the older monitor. It will be easy to verify since the new monitor has a different adapter (for the VGA, touch etc) than the older one.
