does anyone have a JL 10w7 in a g35coupe?

does anyone have a JL 10w7 in a g35coupe?

i plan on getting this, can somebody please tell me how it sounds? and which box should i get? ported or sealed, will this fit in the trunk of my car? please somebody tell me yes... anyhow this sub is expensive i see it for like $500 online, if it sounds really good and hits hard, i'll get it,will my orion hcca 250g4 amp work with this? it goes down to 1 ohm load at 800 watts rms

if anything, u want at least 500 clean watts at 4 ohm. I think, base on my calculation, your amp is putting out about 200-300 watts at 4 ohm.

Look at the JL 500.1, i heard nothing but good stuff about that amp. Plus it is not that expensive either. I am running Phoenix gold ti 800.1 right now with 10w6v2.

i have my box custom build. you can look at my build in the ride section and it is seal.

the W7s is 3 ohm, so if you only use one? the hcca will only put out about 300ish watts, the JL's 500/1 are design to give full power no matter what ohms they are seen. you might to use some other subs to drop the ohms to one ohm to use the hcca's full power...s.w.
