There's a Kenwood DNX7100 for about the same price with Garmin navigation already built in. You can also add bluetooth, iPod and rear-view camera. That's what I have in my truck.

I just got quoted 1,000 for the unit and 250 for installation but I can't find a JDM double din conversion kit in stock. Too bad the riverside infiniti guys are out of stock for a month! Oh well I guess i'll wait.

Anybody get this unit yet? I talked to a couple shops and they don't have any info on software compatibility issues for either portable hard drives or USB memory sticks. Would love to see someone post some pics of their set up if they've got it.

This unit is nice...as far as audio I'm always with Alpine but their double dins are too expensive. You can get one very similar with navigation and other goodies for less.

I hope Alpine improves on their bluetooth. I have the W205 with the bluetooth and feed back that the callers hear is horrible. I tried to lower the volume but then I can hardly hear them. It is my only complaint with the W205.

So, how is everyone liking this unit so far? Any complaints?

Is there a DIY for double dins somewhere on the forum?

Try playing around with the location of the microphone. One tech tip with Alpine is to mount the "brain" for the KCE-300BT as far as possible from the headunit. This usually helps reduce noise.

I have just been messing around with the one at my store. I really like it. I think Alpine did it right this year. Wasn't ever really thrilled with the 200/205.

They have upgraded to the high-res screen of theirs. Video playback is awesome. Ipod functions are real good and fast.

I also like the style button which lets you switch between traditional Alpine layout or the new black layout.

So close to buying one the other day.

Got confirmation the N872A and the H701 are compatible so that blackbird and the new imprint aren't required pieces.

872 will work for sure Viet. Imprint is kinda nice though. H701 is still a great processor.

this thing seems awesome...I have grown accustom to the steering wheel controls for the factory stereo...maybe I have just become lazy but that is the main reason I haven't changed the stereo...To all you guys that have after market stereos...Do you miss your controls and is their a way to keep the controls with an after market setup?
