hey what hits harder? 3 w7 8inch or 2 w7 10's for a coupe. wonder8ing which i should get and if 10 would really fit correctly. anyone have any for sale or know where to buy the JL audios for a good price, please let me know.

10w7's hit more than hard enough if you run a good amp to em...(1000/1) and they fit fine too, but you will lose the spare, trunk space, or both. Definietly go with the 10's and the 1000/1 if you have the cheese to do it...run them sealed too, you can run em with a tuned port too, but I hate loud masty sloppy *** bass... :-) HTH

I guess when you travel, you just cram everything in the back seat, huh? I bet that sounds nice though. Nice work on the DVD setup.

 

The 3-8's will hit harder but the two 10's will give you alittle deeper bass. We did a new Silverado HD with four 8's under the back seat in a custom fiberglass sealed enclosure and two 1000/1's that almost made me want to pass out. We had to go back in and reinforce the roof of the truck because it wabbled like a tub of water spashing around.

hey man are those 2 8's? who made the box? and ist that a bit excessive for 2 w7's? do you really need to jl 1000 amps? later

No it was 4 - 8's. The install originally had one 1000/1 to the four 8's but he came back for more and put a 1000/1 on each pair of 8's.

 

It sounded very good with 1 1000/1 but with the second it is unreal. Those 4 8w7's are unbelieveable.
