MP3's on the display?

MP3's on the display?

On the stock bose stereo in an 05, when listening to a CD full of MP3's, is there a way to get the song title of the mp3 to be displayed on the stereo? Im looking for info like you get when listening to the radio, and the song title comes up. Is there maybe a certain way I need to burn the disc? Currently the music plays but nothing other than the track number is shown on the display. Please Help!!

It wont show it unless you have the navi display. The actual HU wont diplay anything but the track number as far as MP3 CDs go. Hope this helps

Thats actually not true Ive found out for anyone who is interested! All i had to do was push and hold down the "disp" button for 1.5 seconds and it cycles through folder, track, artist... All the Id3 tag stuff.

[1 & 2] Yes, only if you burnt the CD in ISO mode. Don't burn the MP3's as an Audio-CD mode (this will show the song as Track1, Track2......). Make sure your MP3 contains these info: Singer name-Song Title.

When you insert the disc and you press the DISP button, it will display either Singer name/Song Title.

But the text will not scroll like with an RDS radio station

Tigeree99... My text doesnt scroll on the radio display either. Dont know what it might be.
