the avic has a setting on the radio for inverted subs or normal. So you can actually change the way it receives the signals. Don't know if you knew that or not. I have the d2 and it does the same thing. except i have 2-10w3v2's.
i dont know what an avic is but when i had my apline d300 you could switch the signal for the subs to 0 degress 90 degrees or 180 degress, is that what your talking about?
