stereo question

i found an alpine blackbird and headunit from a nissan altima. if i replace my headunit will the factory speakers still be able to be used? (amp?)

Yes, but replacing the speakers would be better.

yes it will work. alpine makes some good componet speakers also if you want to change. the alpine pdx amp is small and compact to fit almost anywhere in your car and it looks good also. what year is your car?

so it will work. the speakers sounds good in the car but they are hooked up to the factory amp. can this headunit be wired to the factory amp and speakers for a similar sounds. or will i need a separate amp for the factory speakers? its a 2004 g35x

no all you should need is the dash kit a harness kit.

The metal bracket is not needed.

Also needed will be the wire harness kit, antenna adapter, and PAC-JACK controller for the steering wheel controls.

The simplest way to connect the Alpine HU to the Bose amp is through the RCA outputs, cutting and RCA cable in half, and connecting it into the OEM harness.

the harness andtenna and pac-jack controller i just thought he would know that. i did not know you had to cut the oem harness to add for the bose stereo.

I think Metra makes an adapter piece to use and aftermarket HU to the Bose amp, but IMO, it's easier and cheaper to cut an RCA cable, pluf the RCA ends into the RCA outputs on the back of the new HU, and connect the cut ends to the pigtail wires on the wire harness adapter that carry the audio signal to the Bose amp. No cutting the OEM harness.
