VGA to stock Nav unit

Hey Guys,

I've been a lurker here for a few years. Got a questions about the Stock Navigation Display in the 03-04 G35. I apologize since i'm not super informed about this topic

So the input to the stock navigation display is RGB + Sync. Anyone know the type of sync it is and the voltage range of the input? Analog composite or TTL? If it is one of those, is there any reason why this wouldn't work for a carputer?

http://www.tkk.fi/Misc/Electronics/c.../vga2rgbs.html

Also, are there any companies that make a VGA to Stock Nav for 03-04 G35's?

I've been looking on MP3car.com, there seems to be some good info, but not sure what the specifics of the Stock Nav Screen is. lmk!

Thanks for the heads up!

blah

After some digging on MP3car.com turns out this won't work for most graphics cards because the refresh rates and resolutions. You can purchase some specialty cards that will output well but typically it will not work. ah well.
