Just wondering what a common watt/ohm sub and amp combo everyone has.. also what is a good price for a full setup going to run me? I just want one 10"+enclosure and an amp.. anyone have something for sale or recommend I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm a big noob on this stuff, so if it's already been discussed don't flame me.. I tried searching but couldn't find the answer I wanted.. link me to another thread if you don't want to respond. Thanks!

kickers look nice, but everyone seems to say JL are the best, but they cost a lot more huh.. so what should i do? should i look for used JL equipment or buy new kicker stuff? or antoehr brand?

 

You aren't a n00b so it's hard to abide the type of questions. Speakers are subjective. Some people love JL, some don't. Go audition some subs at a local shop, then find the right price. Lots of resources if you use the afore mentioned search.

 

k.. the last time i went to best buy and tried to test the subs, only 2 worked, and they had a weird buzzing going on... eek i'm just going to wait a little while till I get more money since now I have to pay $100 deductible on my windshield I just got repaired.. anyways thanks for all your help.

ive got a zenclosures 10" box with a kicker cvr 400w...usin a RF amp pushin 250w at 2ohms...its not the loudest, but its clean and is good enough for me.
