Not sure of the model number, but they all bought the tuners from Grubbs, link is above on post #11.

it cost $115 just to see whats wrong with it from the dealer, would rather not go. ill double check the antenna and receiver to see if anything is loose, ill let you know what i find out

Check the antenna, im willing to bet thats what it is. Even if the antenna wire gets smashed it will stop recieveing signal. I had the same problem with my sirius radio.

ok so i took a look at it again as a last attempt before going to the dealer, and i found something interesting.

ok so when i unplug either the white(its green on mine) or the yellow wire on the receiver the message on my radio in the car changes from "no signal" to "antenna" =/. but when i unplug the yellow wire on the adapter (the black thing that makes 2 wires into the one wire that goes to the antenna) nothing happens. it still says no signal.

well im thinking that it could be the adapter, but i really could use some help. please let me know what you think; id really appreciate it!

turns out it was the antenna for anyone who might be having a similar problem. the dealer told me not to waste money on the $115 diagnostic cuz he was sure it was the antenna, bought one for $30 on ebay
-i appreciate the help guys
