Installed Digital Volt and Current Meters

My son and I spent this afternoon installing a dakota digital voltage meter and digital bar graph current meter. We have been working on the audio system for months now, and we have come to the point where I need to be able to monitor voltage and current. I didn't want to change the shape of the dash or add pods anywhere so this is what I came up with. And since we were in there we went ahead and changed the amber lens for the center display to blue to match the new meters.

Nice job! That looks really good. You're definitely going to be getting some how-to questions on that.

Mahalo Russ. I have some pictures on how I did this. I will have to layout my jigs and take some pictures them see you can see the whole process.

looks great....very professional....now you just have to change the clock's light from orange to blue to match that whole console...

great work! This might open up other opprtunities to mount other surveillance monitors in that space.....maybe for boost/oil pressure for turbo?

That's what I was thinking. We could ditch the clock and put 3 gauges there.

There is a good amount of room back there if you remove some of the mounts for the clock and the panel itself.
