I'm getting ready to install a 4080 enclosure and amp in my 2005 G35x. Where is the BOSE amp located in the trunk? I'm also confused about splicing the RCAs. Will any amp accept the signal from the spliced RCAs? some threads i've read talk about a balanced signal, and how only some amps will accept it. I am planning to use the Polk SR104 subwoofer but I haven't chosen an amp yet. Looking for something inexpensive.

 

the bose amp is located under the rear deck on the driver side. the following is a breakdown of the wires that i recieved from crutchfield.

*The front door tweeters are wired in parallel with the front door woofers.

The amplifier is located on the underside of the rear deck and is protected by the same constant power fuse as the radio. Read numbers from pin side of vehicle connector. FUNCTION PIN WIRE COLOR

Left Rear Spkr - 14 BK/YW
Right Rear Spkr + 15 OG
Right Rear Spkr - 16 BK/PK
