is the double din dash kit the same for navi cars and non navi cars?

is the double din dash kit the same for navi cars and non navi cars?
Is the double din dash kit the same for navi equipped and non-navi equipped cars?

I have an '03 Coupe with OEM navi, and the screen doesn't fit properly when sliding up/down with my aftermarket metra kit. Furthermore the actual navi controls do not fit properly in the metra kit either. Is this the same with the OEM JDM double din kit?

I have an 04 w/ nav and just installed my kenwood 8019 and the only issue I've had is that the nav sometimes gets caught halfway up.

Which double din kit are you using? JDM or Metra?
