Would aftermarket 6x9's be a direct fit in a coupe with bose?

It should be. Even the non-Bose system have the 6x9 punchout areas in the rear deck. Maybe someone else can clarify for sure. I'm also testing out my new signature. lol

The BOSE system only has 1 6x9 speaker behind the rear seats, and when you buy 6x9's they come in a pair so youll only be able to put in 1/2 of your purchase. The guys at my audio place recomended i don't do it becuase it would mess up the balance of bass and treble as well, or something like that.

Isn't that a difference between the coupe and sedan?

The coupe has two 6x9's, and I think the sedan has 1.
