Count me! (is that the 5th or sixth?)

I halfway didn't believe the Grubbs site when it allowed me to put it in my cart. I had not seen this thread, and just was checking sites as I usually do a couple times a week.

The crazy thing is, I found this site last Sunday at work and THOUGHT I had printed the cart out to call them Monday morning to check and see if they were really in stock. On Monday, I could not find the print out any where, and couldn't remember the name of the site either! Being elderly is a bitch sometimes.

Now I have to go stalk a Kenwood 8120....

Just got my DD kit from Grubbs....

Perfect match, looks great. Called my guy at Sunset Blvd. Music here, going to run it by and get a price on all the Alpine gear....I'll take a picture once it's in and going.

By the way, from an internet search,it looks like the stock Nissan wiring harness is all thats needed to utilize the wires that are in place?? Does anyone have any experience with that? I'm replacing all the speakers with Alpines (have to, the crappy BoSe knockoffs are 2 ohm) but would like to save as much wiring as possible with the harness...Capper

Got my 8120 from 6ave.com for 1049 with the coupon and still get factory warranty. Also ordered a CCD camera and GXM30 XM antenna. Planning on ordering a PAC SWI JACK for stearing wheel controls and the Kenwood Ipod cable. Do I need anything else? I've heard some people talk about an antenna adapter. Do I need this to work with the OEM Bose amp and speakers? Thanks.

Got my system installed!!!

Alpine IVA-W505, dockable PMB-B200 nav with bluetooth, controls all wired to the steering wheel controls, two connections for IPod control (USB and IPod connection which also works with my iPhone) run to the center console, bluetooth for my iPhone...it's AWESOME....everything I wanted....you can certainly get a system cheaper, but I'm very happy with mine. I'll try to take some pictures this weekend and post them...

Using the iPod through the USB port gives the album art on the screen, music DVD's look awesome on the 1.3 MP screen...just got the nav dock in place, so I haven't used the bluetooth to connect my phone yet....

Good luck to all doing a double din conversion, it makes a TON of difference in the car...Capper

Bsilv1...I had my guys install the head unit, the steering wheel controls (well worth the money for that), and the mic and antennae for the GPS and dock the PMB-B200. I paid about a grand for the head unit, 500 for the GPS-Bluetooth B200, and about 350 for installing the whole thing, including the double din conversion with new controls for the heat and ac control unit. So I have about 1900 in it. It would have been about another 2500 for the Alpine speakers I wanted, and the amps and subs. The little two ohm Bose speakers aren't great, but it really doesn't sound that bad, at ALL, and the IPod control, bluetooth for my IPhone, and the ability to play music DVD's etc on the big crisp screen were worth it to me. I'll try to post some pictures this weekend...Capper

Do you want JDM or Metra? JDM are much nicer but cost a bit more and are tough to find. Try talking to Tony at Riverside if you are looking for the JDM kit I think they still have some in stock.

http://www.riversideinfiniti.com/

Grubbs carries them too but are currently on backorder.

Found some on ebay as well.

Good luck.
