Re: Move Nav DVD Rom to Trunk?
What did you do to the guts of the ps2 to get it to fit? I tried to fit mine without the housing and it wasn't happening. Also is that a sedan or coupe? That might be the difference.

Motherboard modification is way out of my skill range. That looks great, you've got skills. I was going to relocate my nav dvd like the original poster wants to do. Thanks for the comments.

My thoughts on this is if enough of us show Metra intrest in doing this they may make an extension harness to do this.

Re: Move Nav DVD Rom to Trunk?
OK, I just talked to Colin at Metra and he says there is a possibility they will make extension harness to do this. The first step is he needs some photos of the plugs that go into the Nav DVD player and the photos of what those plugs plug into (the back of the DVD player).
If anyone is willing to take these photos, please post and email to coline@metra-autosound.com
Thanks

Thanks G35SanDiego.
Just checking back in to see if anyone sent in any photos to Metra.
