What did you do to the guts of the ps2 to get it to fit? I tried to fit mine without the housing and it wasn't happening. Also is that a sedan or coupe? That might be the difference.

i have the sedan but i think the space is the same i had to mod the motherbord to make it fit basickly i make the ps2 half the size it should be its a lot of work but hey it fits

trentacinque how would u do that by your pics it looks like u have the factory nav i thought the branes for that were in the spot i put my ps2 by the way i love your install lookes really good all the screes good work

Motherboard modification is way out of my skill range. That looks great, you've got skills. I was going to relocate my nav dvd like the original poster wants to do. Thanks for the comments.

My thoughts on this is if enough of us show Metra intrest in doing this they may make an extension harness to do this.

OK, I just talked to Colin at Metra and he says there is a possibility they will make extension harness to do this. The first step is he needs some photos of the plugs that go into the Nav DVD player and the photos of what those plugs plug into (the back of the DVD player).

If anyone is willing to take these photos, please post and email to coline@metra-autosound.com

Anyone send'm pics yet? Really want this to happen, don't feel comfortable taking apart without a garage, otherwise I would have done it already. Lets get some pics guys! And props to Remami for the lead on metra.
