Speaker Depth for replacements in OEM spots?

So there I was in the store about to buy replacement speakers. Some other guy wanted to return his. They were the right size in diameter, but they wouldn't fit because the replacement speakers were too deep. So how deep are the OEM (Bose system) speakers on the coupe?

I'm not sure of the exact dimensions, but you should be able to fit most speakers in the front door and rear deck or a coupe without a problem. The rear side panels are another story. You'll need a spacer or fabricate something.

Ditto to the above.

I put in some relatively big Boston Acoustic 6.5's in the front and had no problem. I don't know about the rears as I didn't replac 'em, and don't use 'em.

Ditto to the above.

Just for reference, I put Infinity Perfect 6.1's in the front doors (FIT FINE), Infinity Kappa 6x9's in the rear shelf (FIT FINE) and had to settle for Eclipse 6.5's in the rear d/t speaker depth. There has a been a thread about the stock speakers and depths somewhere, can't remember where though. They had pictures of the acutal stock speakers and the measured depth of the back seat side panels. Does anyone remember where this was posted?

How about tweeter depth? I may use the Seas lotus tweet and those things are long.
