07 Sedan, install factory Nav - hypothetical
I did a search for 07-08 nav/gps installs and all that turns up for me is 1st gen G35 info so I apologize if this has been brought up.
Let's assume you have obtained a factory Navigation, Display Unit, DVD Unit, Antenna, Switch Assembly and a few brackets (at a reasonable cost).
Are these all the parts you need to swap out on a G35 with premium pkg, non-Nav or are wiring harnesses going to pose a big problem/requirement?
How complicated would this be on a scale of 1-10 if you are someone mechanically inclined and have taken the dash of an 07 G35 apart before?
This question assumes that:
1. do not care about having the rear camera
2. do not care about trunk CD changer
3. do care about adding XM Sat later.
Curious

I'm not aware of anyone trying it. You can be the first. Be sure to write a DIY to share your experiences.
Or you could get the Garmin GVN-53 GPS unit and use your stock video screen to display the navi using your video inputs.

I would start by looking up the part numbers for the wire harness non nav and nav and see if they are different then you will have some insight into what you need to do
where is the nav you revieved from? the 07 and 08 coupe are completely different i believe. anyways, i have a 07 coupe with nav. i am installing a pac aai-nis2 soon. i might be making a guide for removal of 05-07 dash removal with nav next week sometime. i dont know if that will help?
