Does anyone know if the rear of the Bose Headunit has the plug for the Antenna? I'm looking to install the FM transmitter for the Alpine Changer, and wanted to know.

Yes it does but it's not the usual antenna jack and plug like your fm modulator may have . It's a two prong jack and plug so you'll need these two adpaters to hook up your modulator.

you want the other end of the modulator to go back into the bose unit right? OK you've got the factory antenna cable with the funky 2prong jack which will go into the 40-NI10 which will allow the fm-modulator to hook up to one of the lines, the other side of the fm-modulator will go into the 40-NI20 that will come out as a 2prong jack to go back into the bose unit. Now hook together the other 2 cables on the adpaters for better reception. It's a diversity antenna. Hope this clears it up.

 

Yeah, I think it clarified things.. my other question is there any other place to get these cheaper?

Also, can you get to the back of the unit without taking the dash apart?

Hmm you've got the sedan .. I think it's still the same as a coupe. ButI had to take apart 6 pieces to get to the back of the bose... the top piece where the clock is, a panel below the steering wheel, the glove box/panel, the panel below the bose unit that has the shifter and both panels that hold the cig lighter and aux power plugs. So pretty much most of the dash has to be opened. Search for 'taking dash apart'.

btw, those two antenna adapters are sold locally at circuit city for I *think* ~$10 each. My CC had them at least.
