Im getting a 4080 box with a 10w6v2. Does anyone know if the jl audio J2 500.1 will be a good amp for this set up?

Using an IDMAX 10 in a 4080 box that has been modified for more airspace by Bing (16psibrick) from Simplicityinsound. Couldn't be happier.

I just added a 4080 box with a 10" JL Audio 10w6v2. All I can say is Im amazed at the sound that comes out of this sub.

Im using a JL Audio 500/1 to power the sub.

Nice setup, that's what I ran for a bit. Sadly, that little airspace does not take full potential of the sub, it is far more impressive in a larger vented box, especially with that much power.

Anyway, good stuff.

Running a Sony Xplod 12" in the 4080. Runs great, couldn't ask for a better sound. Has the right amount of bass to make the music sound good and vibrates the trunk to a limit that my friends even admits its a clean sound.
