Exclamation Need advice asap! pls!

i recently sold my audio to a friend who has a 240sx

i sold him my head unit/deck, 6 bose speakers, stock amp/voice box

it was all from my 06 5at g35 coupe

he took it to vader's speed and sound today and they said it can't be done because the speakers are specially made to go into the g35 only, he said you need the wires from the g35 and the head unit to be installed and it's not possible to install because you can't find the head unit in and his aftermarket deck is not good enough!
im like WTF?!

so is it possible to put the 06 bose speakers from the g35 into a 240sx?

Just the speakers? Yes, but as I read everyone saying, they are 2 ohm speakers so you need to get an amp for them. The majority of all head units are meant to power speakers with an impedence of 4 ohms.

so as long as my friend has an amp and some aftermarket wires, it will work?
anyone else have any thoughts on this or seen it done?

Speakers yes, because a 2 channel or 4 channel amp can support a 2 ohm load per channel (bridged it depends on the amp), so you wouldn't have an issue like that.

pretty much any brand. Just look at the specs. if it has a wattage at 2 ohms, for example 50w x 2 @ 2 ohms or 50 x 4 @ 2 ohms (ohms is what you look at) then it will work. Make sure it's a 2 or 4 channel amp and you are NOT looking at the part that says what power it does when bridged. The "x2 or x 4" is simply how many channels. x 2 = 2 channel amp. x 4 = 4 channel amp. 50 x 2 @ 2 ohms means 50w watts per channel on a 2 channel amp at 2 ohms. 50 x 4 @ 2 ohms means 50 watts per channel on a 4 channel amp @ 2 ohms.
