I'd offer ya my Zapco 9.0, but I'm assuming it's probably out of your price range.

Yeah man. You forgot to post up your budget. It changes everything. Donpisto's C2K's are awesome but WAY over your budget.

Indeed, almost 4 times the cost, lol.

As for suggestions, if you want to keep it the same, Image Dynamics has a sexy looking amp, the 1200.1, but I'm not sure if that will work for your budget.

Some other suggestions besides the MRP-1000 is the PDX 1.1000.

I wouldn't go with anything new from Diamond Audio, they just aren't what they used to be. I wouldn't go with the JL because the price is going to be a bit much. The RF T10001bd is a great amp, very solid and will put out more power than rated. If you could find a used one that would be great. I loved my t30001bd. Here is a neat chart to look at: http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/produ...wer_output.asp

I wouldn't go with any Kicker ZX amps, just speaking from personal experience. They get way too hot. My RF t30001bd at 2 ohms put out more power than the kicker zx 2500.1 at 2 ohms (rf rated at 2,000 @ 2 and kicker rated at 2,500 @ 2).

Also, don't rule out any 2 channel amps. If you can find something that puts out around 1k @ 4 ohms bridged, that will also work and it might also fit into your budget.

Here's another amp. http://www.cadencestore.com/ProductC...&idproduct=380

It is out of stock, but I'd call up Cadence and see if they have any available or any similar ones. $200 shipped for a brand new amp is a great deal. Cadence has some great products too. I really liked their "Z" line (like the Z9000 and Z700).

Thanks for all your suggestions guys, im gonna check em all out right now.

Today I went into an audio shop and asked the guy what he suggests and he showed me a 2ohm/4ohm amp and I said Im gonna run my sub at 1ohm and he said if I do that Im gonna blow the sub and over heat the amp.

Is he just an idiot or is that true?

as long as you set your gains correctly on the amp and do not let the sub distort you will be fine.
