Finally, my dash kit arrived from Japan today and I got everything installed, plus some. These are the parts that im using:
Headunit: Clarion DXZ715
Speakers: MB Quart...the crappy ones...going to get Dynaudio soon
Speaker amp: shoot, i forgot the brand. but they are kick *** ones
Sub: 12 inch aluminum eclipse
Sub amp: 600w Xtant
Cap: Lighning audio 1 farad

omg, the difference is night and day. everything sounds so good now. but i totally need new speakers. they are holding me back soo bad. ill take pix when i get a chance and post em.

ok in those pix, you can see my zapco mounted on the back of the seats on the bottom...its the white one. with the cap to the right and power splitting thing on the left. my xtant amp is mounted upside down on the underside of my trunk and my sub is just sitting in the middle. im goign to build a custom box, but just not right now...thats why its kinda awkwardlooking. plus, its crooked becuase i drilled the box twice and dont want to reuse the same holes. it looks like there isnt any space left, but thats just the picture, i still have the majority of my trunk space with this setup. also, my sub has stopped falling over when i try to drift. LOL.
the headunit is off my old car and sticks out a bit. dont want to open her up again to fix it so its gonna stay this way.
also, as you can see, all the wires have been hidden and the install is pretty clean. its nothing custom, but its wonderfullly clean and a pretty nice install IMO. it took the guy about 4-5 hours to do it all and he charged me only 120 bucks.

the install shop was Division R. I highly recommend him for his attention to detail, quality of work, and espescially the prices. i will make another post of their information if anyone wishes to go there. you can bargain with him if u want too.

Thanks for sharing! I've heard good things about the Eclipse subs (esp. when they have ample power).
Do your dome lights dim when the bass hits? I have a similar setup and mine do. I was considering a cap at first, but I was told to have the alternator rewound instead.

good pics......if anything, shouldn't the fuse holder/block be near the battery rather then in the trunk area? i had my fuse as close as possible to the battery's + when i ran my power line for the amp in the trunk........

You should find a new place to mount that xtant amp cuz upside down mounting is absolutely no good unless you have active cooling blowing air over the top of the heat sink. If you don't, the heat is not going to be able to escape and your amp will eventually die from heat damage. I've seen it happen too many times in the rookie division of IASCA and I would hate to see a good amp die.
