I've got the previous generation which is the MAX675 and the line out's are low. I think the're less then 2v. I'm running a Alpine PDX 2.150 and 1.1000 and the gains needed to be adjusted to max and it's still not enough. A line driver would help but it's not necessary. it'll work fine, just may not get the volume you expect. I usually listen at about volume 19 to 23 if I turn it up to 24 then you can start to hear some distortion coming from the HU. from 0 to 10 you can't really hear anything. If you like it loud then yes get a line driver.
don't forget the ipod adapter.

The double din kit that Cartoys has access to is absolutely hideous! I had an '04 sedan (coupe and sedan use the same kit) that I was going to have about 3 grand in equipment installed in, they ordered the kit, I saw what it looked like, and I told them thanks but no thanks. The problem is the AC controls. Instead of being hard plastic they are a very low end looking soft rubber. Also, unless you have the lighter colored interior the buttons won't match, as they are light gray. If you really want to go double din I would suggest purchasing the double din finisher and JDM AC controls from Grubbs. It will cost you a bit more, but your car won't look like *** when it's done.

Also, if I recall correctly, misc LA is the labor charge. When I was going to have my work done I made them explain every line item to me in detail.
