Did a full on SQ system in a new G35 Sedan...

just did a system for a friend of mine, hes very serious into sound quality and plan to compete in a few local SQ comps and in events to come.

I am just going to post a link becuase there are too many pics and words, and also, i am not quite sure if that install is really suitable for this forum hehe...being its truly for the best sound quality and pure cosmetics and factory looking comes second (mainly the tweeter location)

please dont ask me about the tweeter location haha, its how many of hte hardcore SQ crowd prefers it i am just hte installer on this one, not hte designer, except in the trunk its the way it is becuase it sounds best being there.

but it does sound excellent so far.

here you go:

the upside is that doing something this complex in the car now means i am pretty well in tune with working on the new G

Bing, Great install as usual. You are a master of wiring now, especially with those monsters you were given. I still love the LEDs in the design. I should have opted to go a lil extra for them since I show my car now. I have some lil LEDs I mount on top of rear deck. Looks ricey but all well....

heheh, this wiring is by no means the most complex, but its just plain annoying with what i had to work wtih

the vette i think had more wiring but since i chose it, it was easier to work wtih :

Very nice. I just started going on that forum and saw it over there the other day. Im gonna try and put some small tweeters on my a pillar trim like you did on that install. Those are tweeters are big so Im sure smaller ones would look factory. You do very nice work.

Excellent!! I love your work!

How much time would you say an install like this takes you from start to finish?

this one wa sa bit more time consuming, when you do a full SQ install, everyting is over built...2.5 weeks this one took...though if i didnt have the anaconda cables to deal with prolly can get it done in two weeks.

naughty240, yeah a smaller tweeter in a G35 would indeed look more factory:
