I just bought 1 12" Alpine type-R sub w/ a alpine MRP-M500 amp w/ a ported box. The box is about 2-3 inches away from the edge of the trunk because of the height of the trunk in the back. The trunk rattles like a ****, I know I need dynamat but dont know witch company to buy from and how I would need to dynamat the deck lid. Please help!

 

Either buy some Dynamat or Fatmat or HushMat it all does the same thing. You will definately notice the difference. Also put some beind the licnese plate. If you have a wing that also rattles a little too but there is nothing you can do about that.

I personally used Damplifier and am very happy with it, but for the price of the e-dead, i would definitely consider it.

 

Is E-Dead good quality material, and which of their products is best?

 

I used B-quiet extreme which I got on ebay for relatively cheap compared to dynamat extreme and happy with the results

Nooo...No eDead!!! It's poor quality. Hushmat, eh...Fatmat I've seen instances where it will peel. Cascade is really good stuff. Raamat works well and is great if you want to go the cost effective route. I haven't used Cascade so I can't say where I would place it on my list, but currently at the top it is Second Skin. I personally would rather spend more money and get better quality.
