Question need opinion on car alarm system

http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Long-Range-FM-Car-Alarm-Remote-Start-Keyless-Entry_W0QQitemZ230304195216QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCar_ Alarms_Security?hash=item230304195216&_trksid=p328 6.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1234|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1 |240%3A1308

please check this out. what do you guys think? I am thinking of spending about $50-$100 on an alarm system. I just need a simple system. Please let me know if you guys know of any better one.. thanks!

also... should I just go to a place like best buy or something since they will install it and warranty it? I live in orange county so I was thinking of just taking it to some whatever place but I do not even know if they will warranty their work if you know what I mean. Really I just want a simple not crappy alarm system without all the bells and whistles. Any one have any recommendations?

I work for a car stereo shop that does a lot of alarm/remote start installs, and let me say that many places won't even touch our cars! You really should consider taking it to a place and having them install one of their products. Expect to pay around 300 - 400 dollars for alarm AND remote start installed. You really need to pay close attention too that whatever you choose to buy is suited for a manual transmission, which I saw from your sig that you have. Otherwise if they simply bypass the clutch, you could risk your car driving away when remote starting. If you decide to forgo the remote start, this obviously isn't as big of an issue, but please, find a reputable shop. I spend half my day cleaning up installs done by Best Buy and Circuit City. Finally, your car already has an alarm with starter kill, just FYI even though you probably already knew that.
Good Luck!!!

Edit: Compustar is a great brand

You won't necessarily spend a lot on the alarm, it's the installation alone that will set you back a few hundred bucks. I got a quote for $450 to install a Viper alarm on my car at a very reputable shop. No remote starter either.
