Adding aftermarket system to Bose in Sedan
Adding aftermarket system to Bose in Sedan
I just had a system installed into my sedan over the weekend. Im still useing the bose headunit but had installed a mtx 6304 4 channel amp, 1 set of Focal Polyglass 165V2 components in the front door. and 1 Focal Polyglass 27V2 11 inch sub in a sealed enclosure in the Trunk. I left the real door speakers on the bose amp.
The sound is still muddy just like the bose was... Just louder. Im sure that when my system was installed the hi lo converter was installed "after" the bose amp. Would installing the converter "before" the bose amp help any? I know a new headunit would solve these issues.. just not in the budget yet. Also, on the bose system the bass and treble controls are almost useless. What causes this?
thanks in advance.

Re: Adding aftermarket system to Bose in Sedan
how about a pre-amp EQ?
It seems to me that would fix most of your probs
