Pioneer AVIC-N1 w/ Factory Amp?
Pioneer AVIC-N1 w/ Factory Amp?
Hey,
I'm installing the Pioneer AVIC-N1 DVD/Nav system and am having trouble getting sound to the speakers. There is a "system remote control" wire from the head unit (blue/white), but I don't know if there is a remote turn on wire for the factory amp, like there is for most aftermaket amps. Does the factory amp need to be "turned on" by this signal from the blue/white wire?
Also, I've got an LOC (Peripheral Sven4) in line between the head unit and amp. Do I need this or not? It sounds like some people are NOT using an LOC in this case. If I do need it, should I use the head unit's wired outputs or the RCA outputs to the LOC?
Thanks for the help!
