Bose Amp and Rear Deck Sub Removal?

Bose Amp and Rear Deck Sub Removal?

Is there a DIY for taking out the back seats to access the rear deck? I wanna take out the Bose sub and amp and cant find anything on it. I also dont wanna go at it without knowing anything.. Pics would be awesome but a good description is all I need. Thanks Guys!!!

There used to be one for the coupe, but I don't know about the sedan. Try routing around here a bit. You may come up with something.

it can all be removed from the trunk without ever having to remove the backseat i just did a complete speaker swap out in my 03.5 sedan

how do you do it? i got the amp out but not the sub...

do you see screws or clips anywhere it could be fastened down? Chances are they will be your target to get at in order to remove it.

do all g35 coupes have a factory sub, i have an 04 wit the sport package and i dont visually see a sub in the back deck just two 6x9's is it hidden under the deck?

the 6x9s are crossed over in the G so that they only play lower end frequencies. (same thing as a sub

sweet thats what i thought, now how are the rear seat speakers crossed over or are they just mids with no highs, basically a one way speaker, versus a two-way with a tweeter or coponent setup?

ok, so do the rear deck speakers sit in the deck or are they screwed up into the rear deck from below in the trunk.

Ok so i do gota take the deck out. Sweet. Do you know of anyone who has made a custom enclosure that ported the box into the car through the rear deck?

Removing the rear sub(s) should help with bass entering the cabin and I've seen boxes ported in that way, but not in the G. Worth a look around. Rear deck removals are never fun, especially in small cars, but it's worth it.

i gotta coupe. and my brother has a car audio and detail shop so tools are not goong to be an issue and as far as electrical im a engineer so lay it on me no homo, i realy wasnt trying to make this a project car but i do want it up to parr with you guys being that this my first real modable japanese import...
