Pioneer F90BT or Kenwood DNX5120?
#18
I just installed a 900BT (Premier model) for my friend a couple of weeks ago. I like the interface and everything, but the thing is sooooo slow! It was a huge disappointment for me. Also, it did not work with iPhone 3G. If I were you, I'd find a nav unit that's HDD based.

The firmware V1.0 is the slow one. If you have the F90BT and it is fast then you have V2.0 firmware installed on yours. On my wifes it was slow as molases going up in the winter until I installed the firmware update, now it is fast. No more slow load times, the bluetooth is ready to go before she even backs out of the drive.

high pre out voltage means that when you go to add an aftermarket amp the amp won't have to work as hard to reproduce a high level of quality sound. that's the main thing with preout voltage.
it's a non factor if you're using factory equipment because you don't use them. unless you use the 7551 harness in which case you want at least 4v
