No audio from Nav after doulbe din install. Help

Just finished installing an after market Head unit. I followed the double din DIY. Nav works but I no longer have the voice guidence. Everything else works fine. Any one else have this problem and is there a way to fix it.

The only solution I've seen for this is to add a small dedicated amp and speaker for the navi voice by tapping into the factory wires that were disconnected from the Bose HU.

When you are replacing the stereo, there are several connectors you have to deal with. One of them should have been a white 32 pin connector. Wires 32 (blue with white stripe) and 30 (white with black stripe) of that connector are the + and - signals from the NAV. What did you do with those?

You could connect those directly to a small external speaker to get the NAV voice back. But then, you will want to mute your stereo when the NAV is speaking. I don't know how to do that with your head unit, but wire 31 (blue) in the same connector is grounded when the NAV is speaking.

So wires 32 and 31 connect to a dedicated speaker and wire 31 would connect to the Mute wire (brown on the Kenwood DDX7015) on the after market HU. Right?
