Remove the Sirius antenna??

Remove the Sirius antenna??

I want to remove the Sirius antenna, but how is it fastend to the roof? glue or bolts? any chance of FU anything?

there's a good chance you'll do a lil damage. I took my XM "shark fin" off and I left a small dent. I'll take a look at the pics of your car again and see if it's anything like mine.

I can't see your antenna. so it must just be a small one that's attached by magnets. you shouldn't do much damage if any at all

I retract my previous statement. what you'll want to do is take a heat gun, and a plastic pry tool (spatula would work) and heat up the base slowly gently prying it off...
That's how I did mine but had to pry harder in one area in particular so I now have a very small dent :S

Ok, so it is glued, not bolted.
What about the cable, just cut it off by the gasket?

cut it off wherever you feel. if you want to salvage it just be careful with it. if not... you can cut it any way you please I used the sharpest knife I could find - for stress therapy of course

Removed the antenna today, no problem, and no scratches
Also removed the Infiniti and G35 letters on the trunk, so its just the logo left
