I have a Z3 and I absolutetly love it. The nav is great, I love the features. In fact, last night I installed a backup camera; I just need to get the +12v wired up. I also have the bluetooth (which I rarely use) and XM module. The library is one of the coolest features.

How is the iPod integration? Fast? How's the routing for the nav?

You guys are making this a tough decision. I posted hoping people would tell about bugs that could help me eliminate units from contention but everyone seems to love their respective HUs.

What about the F90bt? Im in the same boat as you. Im trying to decide which HU to get. I want the avic-z or the avic f90bt. I haven't researched any other products.
There is a big price difference between both of them. Around 600-700 if I was going to get the bluetooth and ipod connector w/ the Z. That comes included with the F90bt, but has a 5.9" screen which sucks but i think i could live with that. Im not sure which navi. is faster since Z uses the HDD drive and the F90bt uses internal flash memory. I guess it might be the same. but im not sure.
I know the Z doesnt allow you to copy mp3's into the HDD. Only orginal cd's could be copied or audio files from CD's. which is a big negative.
The F has a usb port and a sd slot infront. Big plus since i could just get a 8gig sd card and put mp3's, mpeg4, divx files on it and play it.

The extra real estate of the screen is worth the additional cost, at least to me it is.

I don't have an IPod nor the adapter. I've seen mixed reviews about it. Some love it, some hate it. Alpine's is much faster, far superior from what I read.

The Navi is awesome, and I love the fact that it learns where you drive to help route you the way you'd probably go, such as if you use certain surface streets to bypass a portion of the highway, etc.
