navi and audio problem possible fix
i am upgrading my stereo system along with thedeck unit. i am concerned about losing the sound out of the navi is it possible to hook up the audio of the navi to the cell phone input of the aftermarket deck if available? and will this allow me to ahve my audio for navi?

The Nav unit has line-level audio out, as well as a mute signal output. Note that the mute signal is not the common-industry standard - which is connect to ground - but rather a +12V signal.
If your new head unit can accept line-in audio and has a mute capability (you will have to do some simple relay wiring to convert the non-standard signal), you can make it work fine.

hmm.... some newer model headunits do have such capabilities, but disguised as Cellular Mute...or something of the like.
