bazooka 8" vs 10" suggestion
I just installed a 8" bazooka builtin 100w amp, the bass gain a little bit compare to the stock one. The bass is hard and not really warm as the 10" as I listento. I'd like to go with the 10" one. should I get the 10" with 100w built in amp. does it make much different or do I have to get the higher amp ? (200 or 250) ?
with the 8" built-in 100watt amp, there is abit more bass than a stock bass I have and the bass beat kindda boouce hard not warm like the bass that I had on other car which is 10" sub + separate amp. I waiting for the 10" bass tube with 200 amp built in. I will post the result here when I get it installed.
I had a bazooka 8" with built-in amp waaaaaaay back in the day. I actually liked it. It was kind of awkward mounting it but it did give you plenty of mounting positions so that you can maxmize the output. I had it corner loaded into my hatch and that seemed to sound the best.
I will say, even though the bass was pretty clean, flat, and responsive to pretty low frequencies, the output wasn't quite there. I always wanted it to be just a little bit louder. But your taste with bass is probably different than mine.

bazooka is good sound quality for bass, dont get me wrong. this is my first time using the 8" with builtin amp. back then I had used 10" with a rockforsegate amp, the sound really nice and clear on my Acura integra hatch back. that's why I am gettin the 10" sub with builtin amp so I can save more space to the trunk and hopefully it will bring the bass sound as I expected.
