I signed up and have been reading a lot over there, and I tried to post a thread and it said I need like 25 or 50 posts first, so I go through the section of peoples completed systems and give them compliments on there systems. I did about 12 posts, all of them were nice and i f'n get banned for a week for post whoring???!!! WTF? they hold a double standard. F that mod

 

I just signed up over there maybe 2 weeks ago, I didn't have that issue. You only need 25 posts to comment on a classified thread, and 50 to post a classified thread I believe...

 

I've found that there are the same mix of personalities there as anywhere. Lot of elitists, lot of good folk and plenty of useless n00bs that ask questions without any research.

 

i liked the site but i cant believe I got banned for a week for posting compliments! If they dont like it then freaking give me a damn warning first at least. I emailed them asking for an explanation and they didnt answer.

 

Yeah I know they were placing restrictions on posting a classified ad, but never knew that spilled over to the non-classified sub-forums. That sucks.

There is a ton of good info over there, and just like any forum, you need to sort through all the BS. When you get your account back, I'd suggest posting something about it in this thread. Or PM a mod.
