I bought a navigation screen, controls buttons, and bose radio from an 06. I have an 05. Im not looking to install the whole nav system. Just want to use the nav screen for my tvandnav2go.

There are about 4 plugs on the back of the navi unit. I know one is for control buttons, one is to the navi brain (DVD unit that i dont have), the other i have no clue?

All im looking for is which wires are for the motorized function and illumination for the control buttons?

 

is the motor 5v or 12v? is it on a swiched ground system?

 

I need help with my nav conversion. I have an 05 sedan. I want to add navigation from an 06.

I dont plan on running the factory nav system. I want to use the screen to play dvds using a tvandnav2go harness.

I cant figure out which wires control the motor on the navigation and which wires are for illumination (of the nav controls). I dont plan on using the nav controls for anything, but I do want them to light up like the radio controls.

3 harnesses are on the back of the nav\radio unit. One is for nav control buttons, one is for motor, and one is for the screen. The tvandnav2go will take care of the screen input.

 

I guess i need the factory service manual or wiring diagram for an 05 sedan
