No more JDM finisher gap with double din: pics inside
O Hella OEM, My gap is exactly like yours. I have a HUGE gap on the bottom but since my Pioneer's monitor angles out, the installer told me that I can't fill in the hole.

thats where the black adhesive weatherstrip foam works so well. the face can tip and push it alittle and does no harm, yet still blocks the view behind the bezel. the foam is put on the bottom of the radio. how far back depends on your radio. On the JVC with removable double din, I had to put the foam almost behind the lip of the bezel. but again, it makes it look so much better.
my dnx7140 has a gap too but my DD has reverse tilt so it needs some room.
just make sure you cover the back part with the supplied plastic trim so the inside cant be seen

I've seen dd setup with movable screens flushed too, I just don't understand how mine wasn't. I guess he put my shift **** into account to when installing, I can insert a CD on park, a lot of people said they couldn't. My dd didn't come with a trim, I bought the scorsche trim ring
I'm pretty sure I've seen angling monitors flush mounted.
Ask G35 Pilot - his pictures don't really show if there's still a gap:

A picture of what you're talking about would help a lot.
