where to get avn2454?!

I live 30 miles north of downtown houston but would be willing to drive pretty much anywhere in the houston area to get one of these installed. I think they are incredibly badass and have wanted one since i saw it.... but i have no idea where to find one. I am thinking about getting a used one that i found for ~$1000 but am a little worried spending that much on a USED piece of electronic equipment.... i dont know about car sterio but i just equate it to computer stuff... im really into computers and dont buy ANY used parts because of risk.

i was also wondering how i should talk my dad into this. When he bought me the car he said "Get EVERYTHING/ANYTHING you want optioned on... because it is going to stay liek it comes from the dealership". Well this wasnt completely tru as i added a few things... he made a joke about me "starting to ghetto rig" my g when i put on aluminum pedals even tho he liked them himself and was just joking. He didnt mind the clear corners either and doesnt know about the ztube + p/c i put on there, although he did make a comment about the car not being loud enough at redline when he test drove it, so i know that he would like it if he was me haha. Well i felt bad getting a loaded out G and not paying for any of it and being a spoiled little kid, so i didnt get Nav because i really dont NEED it... but then again i really dont NEED a g35 either. Well i'm glad that i didnt get the stock nav kinda and im kinda not. I was thinking that the ways i'll explain the eclipse to my dad is that i want navigation kind of but dont want a stand alone box (im gonna compare it to my mom's ml320 that came with a box mounted ont he dash from factory). I'm also gonna say that i really want mp3 play back so that i can have like 200 songs on a cd and have the song titles and artists come up on the screen. I am also going to say that i was thinking about getting new speakers and sound equipment but decided that its just because of the lack of adjustability to the presets and tell him that this comes with a lot more preset options on it. Those are all real reasons that i want it, so it wont be lieing... and i will pay for the unit + install.... but its not REALLLLY my car. It's still his even tho he never plans to drive it and plans on letting me keep it for as long as i want and trade it in towards the purchase of MY first car when im out of college. I'm also thinking of mentioning the little camera that i can get mounted on the rear of my car and see backwards better and say that it'll keep me from backing into stuff and be better for my G since i am getting a 25% tint and wont be able to see out at night. (i backed into a few things in my old suburban at night and because of blind spots so this will be a selling point if i mention it) can u guys think of anything else? I'm going to show him pictures so that he knows that im not getting some goofy looking screen put in or some bright BLUE faceplate or something. I think that screen loooks like it could be completly oem (i think that some cars come with one from the factory now dont they?) Anythign else that im leaving out? I'm going to probably leave out the fact that while im driving 100mph down the road i can be watching hardcore porno on the dvd (i doubt that theyd like the dvd distraction much lol)

2004 Black on Black g coupe 6spd.... aluminum pedals, clear corners, z tube, and pop charger. soon to have 19" volk gt-c's and PIAA xtreme whites in the clearance and corners

NOTE: Eclipse will only warranty if you get the unit installed by the same company you buy it from... group buy will void warranty...

I did read the whole thing, don't bother (no offense, just doesn't have anything to do with the question).

Use the yellow pages and start calling Houston shops or put a post in the forum dedicated to that area of the country and ask about good/bad experiences.
