Are you sure you weren't just crushing the keyfob in your pocket with your body weight when you sat down, and accidentally triggering the panic button?

My old man does that every once in a while with the keyfob on his GMC pickup when he falls asleep on the couch with the key fob in his pocket, and then after hearing his alarm wailing outside, he comes running half-awake up the stairs like a madman yelling... "they're stealing my F%$kin truck, those B%^tards!".... only to have his frantic lunacy thwarted by my families laughter.

is that suddenly it would scream? Coz i am not really sure is the battary. Anywayz, thanks 4 your suggestion. I would change the stupid battary first... btw, is there any possibilities despite the battary problem?

If your car's parked in the garage, just leave the trunk partially open. That way the alarm can't reset. If all else fails, remove the fuse.
