well i just went to install my double din, and i go to hook up the ac control unit to the clip and it wont fit.. the old ac unit with the stock bose system clipped right in. Its the climate control with the dual on it if that has anything to do with it.. does anyone know what i can do for this? or if theres a clip that goes in between? please help!

 

It should just plug right in. Which DD kit are you using?

 

im pretty sure its metra.. i bought it off some guy. it just wont clip in at all.. any ideas?

 

my car is an 03..maybe i got a dash kit for a newer model and it just wont clip?

thats exactly what i have, but the clip doesnt match to where its suppose to be hooked up in the dash? i never heard of this anyone?

 

I just did an install of the exact same kit last weekend. It does fit, just try wiggling it around or see if you have plugged it upside down. My first few try didn't work either and I thought I got the wrong plug. But there's only one other unused plug and that one has a totally different shape. I somehow recall that it was a tight fit, and that you need to connect it straight on for it to go in.

 

im going to check for the 4th time in a little bit if that was it im going to 1. feel like a complete noob and 2. wash and wax your car for helping lol
