I have a 2006 g35x w/ bose (6cd).

So this weekend my cd player just stopped working. I don't get any errors but I can't get it to go into cd player mode. It's almost as if the car doesn't know it has a cd player. I tried looking around in other forums but i've seen a lot of people with cd player errors. Haven't seen much with what I have.

I tried the cd button, cycling through the different modes with the steering wheel controls, unload and load buttons and I get nothing. Radio works fine. I'm going to try unhooking the battery next. Also going to take a look at the fuses. I'm not sure if the cd player has a separate fuse versus a single fuse for the whole radio. If anyone has any suggestions before it goes to the dealer it would be greatly appreciated.
