thoughts/ideas on adding a sub to my coupe...
My next mod is definitely going to be adding a sub to my coupe.. but i want to keep my trunk space. Ive been considering the 4080 sub enclosure but i have been thinking of alternative ways to do this...
I have an 06 coupe and i installed the 03-05 spoiler... so i unplugged the 3rd brake light on my rear deck lid, but left it in place... Would it be possible to take a single 12" sub and hook it up in place of that third brake light? Pretty much adding a sub to the rear deck lid, and have everything wired (hidden) in the trunk. I would also try to mount the amp under the decklid so i can keep as much space in my trunk as possible. Does this sound like it would work or would i need a box to get the best sound out of the sub? I listen to mostly rock and occasionally some rap, but i want some more bass out of my system without going overboard like i did with my last car.
