Elec Parts fuse keeps blowing

I have an 03 g35 sedan, I turn it on in the morning and the shifter wont budge. I then notice the climate control buttons are out and the center screen that displays temp is also out. I thought it might have been a problem with the stereo or circuit board so I removed the stereo and put in a new fuse which ALSO blew.
My car is completely stock with nothing extra installed in it. I looked around the stereo area for problems but couldn't find anything. The "check engine soon" light went on after I unplugged a few more parts. My only conern right now is what is causing the fuse to blow.
Any help please?

did you have any power on when you were unplugging things? that will cause issues.
when you say nothing - does that include any ipod adapters, alarm/remote starter.

I know it's been forever, but I've got the exact same issue. There's got to be a short somewhere. Did you ever figure out what your issue was?

The entire head unit was faulty. Dealer quoted me over $1500 to fix it. I ended up finding one on ebay for half of that and installing it myself. Never had the issue again since then.
