OEM part number for center console
I want to get a spare console to fit an aftermarket NAV.
Anyone have the OEM part number for the center console which holds the NAV, radio and AC controls ? (for 03 Sedan)
I called my dealer and they seemed a bit confused.
They asked for my VIN# and then said i needed part#68260AM760 (They quoted $141)
The description for this part is -
Instrument panel - Instrument panel components - Radio cover - W/sport suspension
Black 2003
It doesn't sound like the right part and it's the wrong color too.

According to Everthingnissan.com the price for the part # you quoted is $102.59. You can go to their site and look in the collision parts catalog and you can find exploded drawings of every part of the car. Hope this helps. Mike

isn't the model number of the part stamped on the back of the stock dash piece? Could you look at your dash piece to see what the model number is?

How ? the piece is still in the car.
i want to buy another one to work on (so i don't have to remove the stock piece until the work is complete)

lol...
you might as well practice your dash dis/assembly skills!!!
the more your practice, the easier it will get.......
just ask anyone of us who has done the doubleDIN conversion, with repetitive dash disassembly/assembly...
Its now kinda a NASCAR pit crew.....who can do the disassembly the fastest w/o scratching up the fragile titanium paint. I can do it less than 5 minutes now! (the first time it took me upwards of 15-20 minutes!)
Exactly, what are you planning on doing may I ask?
Is this what you're doing:

Re: OEM part number for center console
This is what i HOPE to end up with.
So, are you gonna quickly take the dash off, get me the part number and quickly put it back again ? ;-)
If not, how about some instructions ?
