Anyone here else here with Navi have a different intro screen? About 2 nights ago I left my key on Acc for about 15mins then decided to start up the car. As I stated up the car, my Navi did not show the Infiniti Logo screen.

Instead it booted up with the a new screen that I haven't seen before. On the screen was a picture of the planet Earth on the lower right, the sun or the moon shining on the earth with stars and space between them. It was a nice full color image.

Anyone have had this happen to you before? Or better yet how to get this screen once again?

I've seen the screen with the picture of the earth and the GPS satellites orbiting, but no sun and stars....

Thats weird that u mention that, i thought i saw something like that one night but i was pretty [censored] up so i was just like nah no way and just forgot bout it.....

 

Any one know how to get that screen?

 

I saw it once too, trying to find the diagnostic mode in the NAV unit.. I took a double take & was never able to get it to come back again.....

Ive seen it on mine one time for just a second as I started the car up one morning.. I wasnt even messing with the navi, not sure how to get that screen again...

maybe that's the screen that shows you the gps is trying to locate satallite signals.......

 

I dont think that is the reason. I have seen that screen before it was nice.

 

lilyang your probably right, sometimes it takes the satellite up to a minute to locate you on regular GPS handhelds, so im sure a car nav is the same way
