Add Aux input to stock unit with factory XM

How do you add an Aux input to the stock head unit with the factory XM unit installed? I really dont want to use an FM modulator. The pac-audio unit will not work if you have the factory XM unit installed. Any suggestions?

Thank you

You could splice into all the wires for the aux input cable and the satellite cable into a relay that would be switched by another switch you would have to install. I can't garuntee this will work, but in theory it should.

If you do end up going the carputer route, you can add an XM PCR unit to it for $50 that would replace your stock satellite system, which I'm sure you could probably sell for more then that.

The outputs of the sat box are balanced if I remember right, so you can't splice directly into it, you need a converter to make your unbalanced signal balanced.
