Radio Fading in and out While driving...

Hey guys after installing my Kenwood 7100 deck, I noticed while driving only the Radio on each station fades in and out, I didn't have this problem before with the stock deck but with the kenwood + the antenna adapter(which I needed to connect the factory antenna car connection to this deck) I get this problem...
Any suggestion, I really don't want to take out the deck again but I might have to change the Antenna conversion that runs from the car to the deck, which I had to use when installing this deck...

Any input would help this fading is driving me NUTS...

As soon as you add a link into the equations when it comes to radio it's going to be hit or miss. if you still want radio... well you're pretty screwed.
I'm guessing you switched over for one of two reasons. 1: deck died which unfortunately you're not going to get your radio reception back
2: you wanted more flexibility in the music you listen to - ipod connectivity, satellite radio, usb connectivity, dvd audio/video etc
If the second reason is why you switched then unless you're listening for traffic information on your morning commute don't worry about it. - radio stations here advertise that traffic reports happen "on the 1s" so pay attention to that and switch over just in time to get traffic reports

I installed the deck for the navi, I sometimes get bored and listen to the weather and news...I think it is the link/extension for the antenna because everything else works fine...No one else have the same problem?

could it be that I didn't hook up the power antenna wire?
